J.S.S R.S.H PU College has been bifurcated from J.S.S Degree college and named as "J.S.S R.S. Hukkerikar Arts, Commerce and Science Pre University College" in the memory of our founder Shri Ramarao Shrinivasrao Hukkerikar.

Janata Shikshana Samiti was established by the Late Sri. R. S. Hukkerikarji in 1944, with a noble determination to propagate value and need based education. Since from its inception, the Institution has been striving with utmost dedication to fulfil the requirements of primary, secondary and tertiary education. Today the Institution, popularly known as JSS has become a premier educational hub of North Karnataka region. This institution has been progressed by leaps and bounds under the guidance & commitment of the Late His Holiness, Sri Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawarmath, Udupi, as the President, His Holiness Dr. D. Veerendra Heggadeji, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala as the Chairman, Dr. N.Vajrakumar as the Secretary and Dr. Ajith Prasad as Finance officer. The JSS campus, with 22 educational Institutions and more than 21600 students is always flourished with curricular and extra- curricular activities.

This has aptly been reflected in academic performance as well as manifold co-curricular activities as well. Our college specialises in encouraging holistic growth of the students as they are not only groomed in academics, but also enabled to actively participate in pro-academic activities.
We have well researched pedagogy well-knit library and laboratories, technologically advanced facilities, qualified and committed faculty with a positive learning atmosphere.

COMMERCE

Commerce subjects are open windows of the world in the fields of Accountancy, Marketing and Business Management. Students need to face various competitive examinations to get into courses of their choice. It is therefore important, that a Pre-University college trains the students, with intensive and in depth teaching and training required to face board examinations as well as competitive examinations. The teaching is learning centric and relies on traditional teaching methodology with modern technology wherever necessary. But the emphasis is on classroom learning rather than technology centric learning.

SCIENCE
